Have fun, make friends and learn Leadership Skills at camp. Teen Leaders encourages outdoor exploration and leadership skill development through two unique and fun programs. Participants take part in fun outdoor games, make friends, complete service projects, and lead younger campers in activities. Camp is a great way for the teen in your life to take the lead!

Teen Leaders at Camp Twigs Bells Bend Beaman

• $335/week between September 1 through October 31, 2021
• $345/week between November 1, 2021, through January 3, 2022
• $365/week between January 4 February 28, 2022
• $385/week between March 1-until the end of summer 2022

Leaders in Training Dates:

• June 20-24
• June 27 – July 1
• July 25-29
• August 1-5

Days: Monday-Friday,

Times: 9 am-4 pm

Extended Care: Drop-off as early as 7:45 am and pickup as late as 5:15 pm for $65/week

Activities:

• Team building initiatives
• Play at the riverside, discover the aquatic habitats, learn about conservation efforts
• Hike the trails, learn to read a map and compass
• Participate in a service projects.
• Visit the nature center and participate in nature education programs.
• Help cook a meal over a fire.
• Traditional camp activities including Crafts, Games, Songs, Skits/Drama

Already participated in LIT at a Leadership Academy nature camp?  Apply to volunteer as a Counselor in Training!  Counselors in Training are volunteers, but considered staff for the week they are volunteering.  They must attend an 8-hour training session in May, dates TBA.  Click here to apply!
